Abstract
Inguinal hernia is a
common surgical problem. Post operative complications and specifically
recurrence is the most important factor in deciding the efficacy of a hernia
repair technique. Modified NICH, surpasses Lichtenstein hernioplasty in the
rate of recurrence and incidence rate of post-operative complications as it
scores less in these factors. Though, this is a small study but proves its
advantages over original Lichtenstein technique.
